Team GECA is beginning an exciting new chapter as we farewell Michelle Thomas and welcome three new staff members.

On 18 March, Team GECA took action and spent Business Clean Up Day on the walking trails around Cooks River.

We’re excited to share this opportunity to join our team of dedicated and diverse GECA staff, who are working to create solutions for sustainable consumption and production. The Standards & Technical Officer is a full time position that will support the GECA standards team in implementing our standards strategy.

As we come to the end of another year full of unpredictability and pause to reflect, I can see many positive changes and a real shift in some vital areas. While there is so much more that we need to achieve, globally, nationally and locally, to tackle the key sustainability issues of our time - people, governments and businesses are sitting up and taking notice. We must catalyse this shift to keep the momentum going in the right direction!

In April Team GECA will be getting out of the office and taking part in Run for Wild Places - a new trail running challenge with a mission to protect wild places! We recently spoke to the Founder of Run for Wild Places, Simon Harris, about this new sustainability challenge.
