Building Responsibility: Australian Passive House Symposium 2018

GECA is delighted to be a Supporting Partner of the Australian Passive House Association's first bi-annual Sydney Symposium.Experts from around the world will cover topics such as the social and environmental implications of responsible housing and case studies on building a Passive House in Australia.The symposium will seek to demonstrate the importance of well-conceived and consistent action in the building sector for a successful transition to a sustainable energy future. CPD points are available for architects and builders.There is also an opportunity to join a networking breakfast and a site tour of the 11-unit development in Redfern aiming to become Sydney’s first Certified Passive House project.Alongside the symposium is a FREE Trade Show that will be open to the public from 9am until 5pm at the conference venue. This will be a unique opportunity to access first-class advice, information, products, materials, illustrative models and experts happy to answer any questions on how to apply Passive House in the Australian context.
