Boab Table
$0.00

The Boab table is named after the native Australian Boab tree, Adansonia gregorii, which is known for its thick tree trunk. It comes in work and coffee table style. This is a circular table with a feature-packed and customisable design. The powder-coated steel base is available in two sizes, a 4-5 person or a 6-8 person. For seamless connections a floor box can be hidden underneath the table with cables running through the hollow base to an outlet mounted on the tabletop. It’s also easy to remove panels from the base to undertake any electrical work. Hidden adjustable glides ensure stability at all times. The tabletop is 33mm-thick and available in laminate or timber veneer as standard. A powder-coated steel planter box is a popular add-on for an injection of greenery.  Made in Australia, the Boab table is a solid collaborative table for open-plan spaces, especially those with a compact footprint.

Disc Table
$0.00

The Disc Table Series is based on a simple and cost-effective disc base. Various table top options and heights means they can be everything from a coffee table to a small meeting, bar or dining table.  The base can be powder coated in Koskela colour ranges.

Jacob Phone Booth
$0.00

The Jacob takes inspiration from Koskela’s iconic Jake chair with its tubular steel frame that can be powder coated in a range of Koskela colours.

When designing Jacob, we upped the sustainability stakes. Koskela’s industrial designers took up the challenge of making Jacob’s components repairable or replaceable, so the product can be maintained over time. A major innovation is the removable covers, which is a unique feature for this type of product within the market. Easily removed, the covers can be regularly dry-cleaned and after several years replaced, to keep the product in tip-top condition.

This contrasting steel frame is the base for the soft upholstered Jacob family, which can be adapted for various types of contemporary working environments. Available in most commercial-grade fabrics, the upholstery features a thick piping detail.

The original product is a sofa available in a standard, midback and highback version. The midback and highback have an extended back and sides. As well as offering visual and acoustic separation, this has a cocooning effect, which is ideal for seclusion in open-plan spaces.

To further develop this concept, we created the Jacob Hideaway.

The Hideaway integrates desking with the Jacob midback or highback. Swap plush cushions for a laminate work surface and you have an upholstered workstation. It’s also available as a Return, which extends the size of the workstation by adding a rear wall with an inbuilt shelf.

Power and data can be integrated into each workstation, with standard provision for cable reticulation through the wall system.

Add-on accessories enhance the functionality of the Hideaway. A small shelf, large shelf, bag hook and whiteboard are all available.  The Hideaway is ideal for focused individual work.

This is a modular product that can be multiplied up to six times as standard. This is the Return highback version for one person.

By utilising the soft upholstered wall panels, the Hideaway can be customised to create endless configurations that can be re-adapted depending on an organisation’s needs. Contact your Contract representative to discuss the possibilities.

Brolga Armchair
$0.00

The Brolga is named after one of our favourite native birds, also known as the Australian Crane.

Brolgas are well known for their elaborate dances and long strong legs.  Solid Euro Beech timber legs are the hero of the Brolga series.

It forms a slender frame that deftly supports the upholstered seat and back with no visible fastenings. The padded cushions have rounded corners to mirror the cylindrical dowel. This is a comfortable yet sculptural piece that would be a striking accent in any space.

Juha Whiteboard
$0.00

The A-frame Juha Whiteboard is mounted on four lockable castors making it easy to manoeuvre. The steel frame can be powder coated in any of the Koskela colours. The Juha also functions as a screening device when there are three or more. The front and back are deliberately different in size so if you line up matching sides you create a curved wall, or you can line them up inversely to create a straight wall. The whiteboard itself is a ceramic and magnetic composite, which is a special non-yellowing product that can be written on again and again with no trace of ghosting or stains. It’s also frameless so there is no buildup of texta residue along the edges. Inside, we have added a steel shelf with a pullout laptop tray featuring a pattern based on our K logo that is perforated to enable dust to pass through.Magnetic accessories such as pen holders, display shelves, and a paper roll dispenser are also available.
