More GECA standards have been approved by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) meaning products certified under them will contribute to achieving credit points for Green Star projects. Following the GBCA’s announcement in October to expand its existing Assessment Framework, GECA applied to get its Paints & Coatings and Cleaning Products standards recognised.

A minor revision of GECA’s Machine Dishwashing Detergents Standard was undertaken to widen the scope and incorporate requirements for detergents used in commercial dishwashing machines.
