Bunji is a game-changing product for leveraging flexibility in a classroom. We wanted this product to be approachable and engaging, like a friend. Bunji does in fact mean friend; the word originates from the Warlpiri Aboriginal language in the Northern Territory. With its birch laminate feet the Bunji can easily be pushed around by students to create spaces for focusing. The visual and acoustic separation is particularly beneficial for group or individual wok. The surfaces of the Bunji further assist with facilitating this type of work. One side is Autex Cube™, a lightweight and semi-rigid panel that has sound absorbing properties and contains a minimum of 45% post-consumer recycled material (PET bottle-flake). It can be used as a pinboard. The other side is whiteboard. Made from a ceramic and magnetic composite, this is a special non-yellowing whiteboard that can be written on repeatedly without any trace of ghosting or stains.
