As expectations around sustainability, transparency, and responsible sourcing continue to rise—driven by regulatory changes, procurement policy shifts, and growing customer scrutiny—businesses are seeking credible ways to demonstrate they’re doing the right thing. And increasingly, they’re being held accountable for the claims they make. 

On Tuesday 17 August, the Australasian Furniture Association (AFA) hosted a joint webinar with the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) and GECA to introduce the project: 'Understanding and Exploring Chemicals Management in the Furniture and Furnishing Industry'.
