What a year!
Leadership in Modern slavery legislation, major organisations committing to doing things better through the ISO 20400 across their whole supply chains and a feeling of collaboration and commitment.
Australia and our businesses are taking the next step in making sure we do what matters and are making a difference.
I can’t think of a better end to the year and a reason to celebrate.
This was also acknowledged at a government organisation level when I recently spoke at Procurement Week and a resounding awareness and commitment to environmental and social positive impact.
There is a definite feeling of stepping up and working together – and indeed we cannot do it alone.
It is also a wonderful celebration of all of our licensees who are already leading the way in how to do the right thing.
I want to take this time to acknowledge our manufacturers who do the right thing every day amongst a competitive market.
We at GECA too have had a busy year spreading the word on the importance of their market placed leadership and growing the understanding and demand of why it’s important.
